Kang Min Woo and Na Hong Joo are getting their drink on when wet blanket Cha Suk Hoon shows up. The party's over. (Except for the piano player and violinist. Go to town, boys! Cue DramaMusic.) Suk Hoon gives Kang the brush off while making Hong Joo come home.
Along the way the couple argue about trust. A frustrated Suk Hoon gets out of the car and starts walking. Hong Joo takes over driving and tries to get her husband to get back into the car or else she'll just drive on to Seoul by herself.
She drives on to Seoul by herself.
Meanwhile in her state-of-the-art gym (because who doesn't need three TVs?), Yoo Se Young can't stop thinking about Suk Hoon. Her workout is interrupted by whiney sister, Se Jin, who has brought a bottle of wine over. Geez, everyone is getting hammered in this episode. Se Jin talks about seeing Min Woo earlier. I'm starting to wonder if there's a history between Min Woo and Se Young. Then Sis breaks out her phone and starts showing Unnie the pictures of Na Hong Gyu. Isn't he cute? Hasn't Se Young ever felt that thrill of attraction? Se Young has to study on that for a moment.
Hong Joo didn't really drive off and leave her husband. She finally gets a tired Suk Hoon to get back into the car. The couple make up.
The next day nagging wife Han Ji Sun can't get a hold of her husband to nag him. She calls Park Han Soo for a report. Han Soo lies out of the side of his mouth about Min Woo's innocent activities. Ji Sun is suspicious and thinks about hiring yet another private detective to follow her husband around.
Suk Hoon and Hong Joo go grocery shopping together. She stops to look at some children's books for Roy. It causes her to make some vague references to the past and her not being healthy enough to have a child.
Suk Hoon gets a text from Se Young asking to see him. He texts back telling her not to contact him again. Se Young ignores that and texts back this is simply about business. Suk Hoon lies to his wife and goes to meet the other woman. Se Young is offering him some kind of business deal job. (I'm not really sure. I don't have a head for business. Which is why I'm sitting here watching a Kdrama and not running an international hotel chain.) Anyway, Suk Hoon says thanks but no thanks.
Se Jin makes Hong Gyu meet her for drinks. She's got a big car repair bill she expects him to pay in three days. 1. Doesn't he have any car insurance? and 2. they barely exchanged paint. She doesn't need a car rental.
That night in bed, Hong Joo brings up the subject of having a baby through the miracle of science and test tubes. Suk Hoon assures her he is fine not being a father. I take it having a baby could possibly kill Hong Joo. Does adoption never enter the picture?
Needing money, Hong Gyu agrees to do one last job for Park Han Soo using his superior hacking skills.
We finally get to meet Min Woo's formidable mother, Im Jung Soon (played by Jung Hye Sun, another refugee from A Hundred Year's Inheritance.) Ji Sun just had a baby and Mama Im is already harping on the woman to get pregnant again and have a boy this time. (Um, Mama Im, you should be fussing at your son about the sex of his children.) Min Woo breaks the news to his mother about Ji Sun not being healthy enough to have any more children. Mama Im doesn't care about Ji Sun's life or death - just have a baby!
Min Woo gets a message from Park Han Soo. He meets with the private detective (at least that's what I'm calling Han Soo) out in public, which allows Ji Sun's secondary P.I. to photograph her husband meeting with her primary P.I.
Lawyer Choi Suk Ki's son is in some legal hot water. Min Woo offers to use his influence and help out as a means of forcing Choi to quit Se Young and come work for him. Suk Hoon and Hong Gyu are out guzzling beer. Hong Gyu mentions his recent job looking into a lawyer's private life. Suk Hoon suspects the lawyer is Choi Suk Ki. He calls Se Young to fill her in.
Min Woo comes to see his son. Roy proudly shows everyone a picture he drew of his happy home with Dad and Hong Joo. The boy doesn't understand why the adults are suddenly uncomfortable. Oh my, what none of them know is that Ji Sun's secondary P.I. and his trusty telephoto lens is taking pictures of them all through the window.
Se Young confronts her right-hand man about jumping ship to Kang Min Woo. Now if she's smart, and I suspect she is, Se Young will let Suk Ki go work for Min Woo and be her inside man in the enemy's camp.
Hong Joo proceeds with her plans to get pregnant. (All these women in the show are having babies, wanting babies, or can't have babies.) Se Young is about to go to an important business meeting concerning the Hong Kong hotel when she suddenly collapses. Suk Hoon hears about Se Young's health crisis, and since he's already familiar with the Hong Kong acquisition, decides to step in her place at the meeting. Suk Hoon saves the day.
Ji Sun goes to the summer house to meet Roy. Apparently Hong Joo hasn't gotten around to teaching the boy about stranger danger. Suk Hoon goes to the hospital to pick Hong Joo up. He runs into Se Young who has just been released from her doctor's care. She's thanking Suk Hoon for helping out which is when Hong Joo walks up and finds them together.
