Seok Hyun easily explains away the "What's this girl doing in your bed?!?" scene. Last night as they were working together, Kang Na Hyun fell asleep on the couch in his office. Seok Hyun went upstairs and got into his bed when moments later he hears Na Hyun stumbling in. She's more or less still asleep and climbs into his bed thinking she's at her own home. Seon Hyuk gets up and goes to sleep on the couch. All is forgiven.
Still, Yeol Mae isn't too happy with this co-worker of his practically living with them now. Can't say that I blame you. It's time for another blowing off steam session with The Girls. They're supposed to be discussing their upcoming vacation trip, but Yeol Mae wants to talk about how women in their twenties suck rotten eggs. There ought to be a law prohibiting older men dating younger women. This leads to a rather funny fantasy sequence. Men in their thirties and women in their twenties have been physically separated by a barbed wire fence, ala North and South Korea. This doesn't stop Seon Hyuk from leaning through and making out with Na Hyun. North Korean-ish soldier Yeol Mae comes up and pretty as you please shoots Na Hyun dead. Seon Hyuk climbs through the fence and cries over Na Hyun's body. Yeol Mae asks him to go with her but he refuses. He hates older women. So Yeol Mae shoots him dead as well. Cause that's how you do it.
Back in the real world, Ji Hee is with Asswipe and he's wanting to get a hotel room. At first Ji Hee is all skittish and starts to run away, but then she recalls how she's a grown woman and shouldn't be afraid. She gets back into the car and finally (finally!) tells Asswipe how he's just as boring in bed as well. She never had this problem with other men. Lastly she dares Asswipe to get a hotel room. She will tear him up!
Of course she won't. While he's in the bathroom getting ready, she's nervously calling Jae Kyung for advice on how to tear a man up. Jae Kyung advises her to just do whatever it is she likes to do, forget his wants. Ji Hee attempts to get relaxed and sexy only to have a vision of an old high school teacher berating her. Ji Hee takes off.
Yeol Mae goes to another coffee class and Ji Hoon seizes the opportunity to ask her to go somewhere with him. It's to an orphanage to sing and entertain the kids. Yeol Mae tells Seon Hyuk about this, mainly to see if she can get a rise out of him. He instead offers to drive her over to the coffee shop where she's to meet up with Ji Hoon. He's okay until he actually sees Ji Hoon (and how fine he is) and now Seon Hyuk shows a little bit of concern in his eyes.
Yeol Mae and Ji Hoon have a delightful day together. He sings well, he plays soccer with the orphan kids, he does laundry, he owns his own business, he has a black belt in Taekwando ~ argh, girl! Stop wasting your time on friends with benefits and go for this guy!
Of course she won't. Ji Hoon is the second lead, and no matter how fabulous second leads are, they're doomed to be alone at the end of the series. Why, Korean script writers? Why?
Seok Hyun and Na Hyun are at the movies and are joined by Yeol Mae. Na Hyun whispers to her to make herself scarce after the movie because Na Hyun wants some time alone with him to confess her growing attraction. After the movie Seok Hyun suggests they go somewhere to eat. Yeol Mae says that's a great idea. In your face, Na Hyun.
After a couple of soju shots, both Yeol Mae and Seok Hyun tell Na Hyun to make like the wind and blow because the grown-ups need to talk. Yeol Mae has decided she wants to end their arrangement of being bed buddies. She wants more from a relationship and she understands she's not going to get it from him. Yet that night back at home it's Seok Hyun who wants to make love to her. In the morning he even brings her breakfast in bed.
Meanwhile, the show veers into melodrama mode. Jae Kyung and her mystery man, Jeong Min, are driving out of town for a secret rendezvous. On their way back to Seoul, Jeong Min sees a car behind them and recognizes it from the day before. Jae Kyung suspects her husband, Jang Woo, has put a tail on her. She puts the pedal to the metal in attempt to shake their pursuer. Just when they think they're safe, they're broadsided by a truck. (Probably the same Truck of Doom that smashed into Mina on Dr. Jin.)
The gang rush to the hospital. The first person they encounter is Jeong Min who is waiting his turn to see the doctor. Ji Hee is shocked to see him there. A bandaged Jae Kyung is brought out and Seok Hyun helps Jeong Min into the examination room. Ji Hee jumps all over Jae Kyung for being with him and at last we're clued in as to who hell this guy is in the first place. Jae Kyung had been dating Jeong Min before, had almost started to marry him, when she threw him over for broadcaster Jang Woo. Jae Kyung argues back she didn't call them all over so they could judge her, she called them for support. (You know, I must agree. There's a time and place for everything. They can yell at her later. Right now they need to comfort the accident victim.)
As they're all out in the hallway they're ambushed by the media who start yelling questions to Jae Kyung and taking her picture.
